Positive Education

Early in 2012, I became interested in positive psychology through the work of Dr Martin Seligman.  Since then, I helped my school launch a Positive Education committee which has added another dimension to our student mentoring program.  Both staff and students have undergone training in positive psychology and skills to build resilience.

I also developed a unit of work to teach positive psychology as a topic within our Year 11 Psychology subject.

We are fortunate to be on campus at the University of Adelaide where we have joined forces with the School of Psychology in some exciting research projects in this field.

Please feel free to contact me via email if your would like to discuss our Positive Education or Positive Psychology initiatives further.
